I love The Amazing Race. I even liked the family version which everyone else I know hated. And I make no apologies that my favourite team is Rob & Amber. I think they’re hard nosed competitors, but what I like about them most is that they always treat each other respectfully. There is no screaming or shoving or recriminations - if a mistake is made, they figure out a solution and if there is no solution they share equally in the consequences, just as they share equally in the rewards.

So I was sorry to seem the eliminated tonight from the all-star version of the race.
My mother, on the other hand, was thrilled. She absolutely loathes them. She also gave me her cold. So now I’m stuffy headed and “my” team is gone.
